In the beginning, there was the sawfish, and then in ...
1990 Ulrich Rattunde founded the company Rattunde & Co GmbH in a garage
in Wittenberge, Germany. The founder builds his first special-purpose machine.
1995 Rattunde outgrows the garage in Wittenberge and moves
into a small area of the present-day site in Ludwigslust, Germany.
1999 Rattunde begins development work on a production system with brush-deburring
machine. This machine will eventually evolve into the Rattunde ACS Production System.
2000 The new machine is officially unveiled at the "Tube" Trade Fair in Düsseldorf, Germany.
2002 Rattunde sets out to develop a new production system
with an integrated chamfering machine.
2005 Distribution of the production systems reaches North America.
2006 Rattunde Corporation in Grand Rapids, Michigan, was founded.
Rattunde captures the North American market.
2007 Rattunde further improves the ACS Saw Machining Center by developing a chamfering machine for curve-machining ACS+CFMcurve. Thus begins a new era in the evolution of the ACS Saw Machining Center.
2010 The ACS Saw Machining Center will now be the ACS Production System, because with sawing, the processing of parts is just beginning, it only ends when the parts are fully processed and the shipment is ready for delivery.
